ODOM TO STAY WITH LAKERS

The Los Angeles Lakers have at last reached terms on a new contract with sixth man Lamar Odom, after a month of frosty negotiations that might have troubled the team and its fans more than just about anything they saw during last season's playoff drive to the championship.

"I always wanted to come back because we won the championship," Odom told ESPN's Shelley Smith. "I'm playing for the biggest brand in the world. And I'm playing with the most fluid, talented center in the world in Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum's coming back and of course Kobe Bryant. "But to now get an opportunity to play with Ron Artest, a guy I've known 16 years, it means a lot. I told Ron Ron a few weeks ago I couldn't walk away. I still had to fight. Everytime negotiations didn't go the way I thought, I just took a step back, like them pulling the offer off the table, I just knew I had to fight."

Sources with knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com that Odom and the Lakers today agreed to a four-year deal worth up to $33 million if the Lakers exercise their option on the fourth season.

INTERVIEW: DJ MUGGS ON HIP HOP GAME

Hip Hop Game just did a dope interview with DJ Muggs. Muggs talks about the new Soul Assassins Intermission album, his thoughts on the current state of the music industry, mixtapes, the SA brand, and more. You can read the interview here.

Stop saying music sucks. There’s good music. Go find it. Stop listening to the radio. Radio has always sucked. When has radio been good? Radio hasn’t been good in L.A. since KDAY left, when they were breaking records. Radio has always sucked. Remember Chuck D? “Radio Won’t Play Me.” They were playing Vanilla Ice and Hammer. Stop acting like the radio is good.

That’s why they make CDs and cassettes and albums, so you can go and listen to what you want. Radio can suck my dick. Don’t ever play my fucking song again, radio. Ever, radio. Please! And you know what the funny thing is? They still play it. The thing is, I don’t give a fuck and I never have, dude. I’m telling you, we consider ourselves more like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd over here instead of some pop shit

DJ Myron was in the house spinning some classics as well as a 2 hour Michael Jackson tribute set! Check the photos below and kick yourself in the ass if you didn't show up!

Co-curater, Eyeone really did three pieces based off the "ABC" by the Jackson 5. His pieces represent the learning tree with "Reading", "Writing", and "Arithmetic"

Quincy Sutton killed it with his "Thriller 1982" piece

One of Soul Assassins' resident artists , DJ Solo, and his dope piece, "The Last Hand." Solo went all out with this one and even printed a 'Zine called "The Solo Codes" to explain the symbolism of his piece

Marsha's brightly colored "Will The Real Michael Jackson Please Step Up?" was another crowd favorite

Timothy "Teruo" Watters and his "Billie Jean" piece

Jason Youth did two pieces for the show, "Eternal" and "Pray For Me"

Chris Wolford representing for the Dethkills crew

Acme's hand styled "Michael" piece

DJ Myron cutting it up

Lil' Meezy dropping verses off the dome

BMW S.X CONCEPT

The BMW S.X concept is the work of designer Iulian Bumbu. The concept delves into what a future sports luxury coupe from BMW might look like, and is positioned as a successor to the BMW 6-series. The design exercise continues with BMW’s “flame-surfacing styling language” and maintains a sense of uniformity and continuity throughout the exterior. The design has high-mount brake lights incorporated into the edges of the rear window, and lateral vents are placed just behind the front wheels. The design strikes a balance; it is neither a radical departure from the BMW design language, nor does it blindly follow the same.
