DOWNLOAD: NAS - NASTY NAS DEMO TAPE (1991)

Here's some classic material from Nas, his 1991 demo tape called Nasty Nas. This is the tape that MC Serch took to Faith Newman-Orbach and David Kahne at Columbia Records to get Nas his deal. Rumor has it that Russell Simmons passed on it, and now Nas is ironically on Def Jam.
We all know that no one is making tapes anymore, and is anyone even making demos? Check that tracklist below, and download the demo here.

VIDEO: IT'S THE REAL - I DATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW

I Date You So Much Right Now from jeff on Vimeo.

The dudes from It's The Real are back with another hilarious video... This time they go after Nas and Kelis following the news of their recent divorce settlement.

This week, we have some advice for the newly-divorced Kelis: When one door closes, a window opens… a $44,000 window. And we at ItsTheReal.com are waiting outside that window, in I Date You So Much Right Now.

VIDEO: NAS X DJ KHALIL RECORDING "COLORS" UNRELEASED SONG

Pretty sick track from the homey DJ Khalil, here's his explanation:

Here is a song we recorded over a year ago in LA at HOB Studios. This was a dream come true for me, to record a song with one of the most prolific artists in all of music. Busta Rhymes told me that he is our crown jewel, and I would have to agree. It’s an honor to work with some of the pioneers and true greats in hiphop and to live out my dreams. Although the song didn’t make the final cut, I had a chance to produce Nas and collaborate with him in the studio. I coached him thru some of his vocals and we conceptualized the song. A truly incredible experience. This song is featuring Danny Keys on the hook.

BEASTIE BOYS FT. NAS - TOO MANY RAPPERS

Damm... The Beastie Boys fought for their right to party, and from the looks of the above photo, they partied hard! At one time in my life (7th grade) these guys were my favorite... Check out this brand new track from their upcoming album, The Hot Sauce Committee pt. 1, called "Too Many Rappers" featuring Nas. Look for their new album to drop in September!
