Opening yesterday and running through till April 26 next year, acclaimed Movie Director Tim Burton is exhibiting a host of drawings, paintings and sketches all of which have been collated throughout his illustrious career. The exhibition takes place at New York’s Museum of Modern Art where further Burton works will be available to purchase. This video gives a fairly in depth behind-the-scenes insight to the way in which the exhibition came about, and what it means to Mr. Burton. I have actually had the chance to meet Tim while my mother was working with him years ago. We still have some of his sketches that we have yet to see surface. If your traveling to New York, don't miss this exhibit.
The Philadelphia 76ers have reconsidered their stance about bringing back franchise icon Allen Iverson and are weighing the merits of signing him, but team sources told ESPN.com today that Iverson's return is not a certainty and that no face-to-face meetings between Iverson and anyone from the franchise have been scheduled. The sources said Iverson is just one of the free agent guards Philadelphia is considering since losing Lou Williams for eight weeks because of a broken jaw, but he jumped to the top of their list for several reasons; the severity of Williams' injury, the fact that Iverson's agent reached out to the 76ers asking for a second chance, and his box office appeal.
"We discussed him like we would any free agent, but we understand he's not just any free agent," one source told ESPN.com. "Are we thinking about it? Yes. But it hasn't gone beyond that."

Rumor has it that Russell Simmons passed on it, and now Nas is ironically on Def Jam. We all know that no one is making tapes anymore, and is anyone even making demos? Check that tracklist below, and download the demo here.

Allen Iverson is set to retire from the NBA, according to an online report. Commentator Stephen A. Smith published a statement on his Web site Wednesday attributed to Iverson. It said Iverson plans to retire but also that "I feel strongly that I can still compete at the highest level."
The 10-time All-Star played three games this season with Memphis before taking a leave of absence to attend to personal matters. He was waived after the two sides agreed to part ways. It was the second straight ugly ending for Iverson, who was unhappy last season playing for the Pistons. He was upset that Detroit coach Michael Curry and Memphis' Lionel Hollins used the former MVP as a reserve.
Why can't all girls be this easy to give gifts to? I didn't hear one mentioning of purses, heels, or other extremely expensive stuff. Yet another reason why Chris Brown continues to fail at life right now. - Richard

Federal agents from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and local police today seized wood, guitars, computers and boxes of files from Gibson Guitar's Massman Road manufacturing facility.
Sources say the Nashville-based guitar manufacturer is being investigated for violating the Lacey Act, a key piece of environmental law, for importing endangered species of rosewood from Madagascar.
Rosewood is widely used in the construction of guitars and sells for $5,000 per cubic meter, more than double the price of mahogany. The island nation off Africa's east coast is a key producer of the hardwood, the export of which has links to international criminal activity.
A statement from Gibson released late Tuesday afternoon says the company is "fully co-operating" with the investigation.
"Gibson Guitar is fully cooperating with agents of the United States Fish & Wildlife Service as it pertains to an issue with harvested wood. Gibson is a chain of custody certified buyer who purchases wood from legal suppliers who are to follow all standards. Gibson Guitar Chairman and CEO [Henry Juszkiewicz] sits on the board of the Rainforest Alliance and takes the issue of certification very seriously. The company will continue to cooperate fully and assist our federal government with all inquiries and information," the company's statement said.
Madagascar has struggled financially since a January coup and new President Andry Rajoelina issued an executive order in September legalizing the export of rosewood and ebony. The move was decried by environmental groups and political leaders worldwide, as hardwood forests are key to Madagascar's unique ecology and serve as a habitat for a dwindling lemur population.
Sources tell NashvillePost.com Gibson was involved in a scheme that shipped the wood from Madagascar to Germany and then to the United States.

As you can see Bangs is starting to blow all over the nation. Here's his interview on Eminem's radiostation Shade 45 with Lord Sear and Rude Jude, callers go in on African artist Bangs and clown him hard. Not sure he knows he's being clowned, its too funny.
Before you watch this insane music video by Jérémie Perin, note that is totally not safe for work. Its video game inspired animation contains pixellated 8-bit depictions of both sex and pooping. The look is a pixel-perfect replication of the era of video games I grew up playing. And though it’s sad that there are no more games being made that look like this, I am thrilled to be living in an age when the kids who grew up with this aesthetic are now the grown-ups making new things of their own.
