TRADITION VENTURA: A LOOK INSIDE

Many of you know that we opened our newest store on Main Street in Ventura. Our Ventura store has a similar look and feel to our Westlake store, although it is quite a bit smaller. The new store has a very industrial feel and features wood floors mixed with white walls and exposed bricks. This store is a welcomed change to the recently renovated strip of main street that also house an Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, and Buffalo Exchange.

Tradition in Ventura carries the same strong line-up of apparel brands such as Crooks & Castles, The Hundreds, Diamond Supply Co., Black Scale, 10 Deep, Bloodbath, The 7th Letter, G Shock, and Akomplice as well as our own Tradition brand. Because the store is much smaller, we will be stocking a different range of items at both stores. Check out the photos below, and stop by soon to see the store for yourself.

If you have ever been to any of our events at Tradition you know my son Miles a.k.a Lil' Meezy always blesses us on the mic. Every performance seems to get better and better. Saturday's release party for the Tradition X Bloodbath "Mighty is the Pen" tee was no different, Meezy killed it even going Acapella.

TRADITION X BLOODBATH "MIGHTY IS THE PEN"

We recently joined forces with our good friends at Bloodbath to bring you this exclusive tee for the Holiday Season.
Titled "Mighty Is The Pen", the back graphic features a sword with TRADITION's shield on the hilt dipping into an inkwell labeled with Bloodbath's Gatekeeper logo.
Two quills hover in front of the sword with a ribbon spiraling around the design. The words written on the ribbon read: Mighty Is the Pen.

The pen is stronger than the sword, but the bloodshed and sacrifices made by war and violence create the ink that is used to govern the world.
It is a balance between ideals and action, a thought out plan and swift execution, and the poetry of swordsmanship.

Available in Black, Red, White and Silver colorways - This tee will be released at both TRADITION locations Saturday, November 21st at noon, with an official release party at Tradition in Westlake from 7:00 to 11:00. The release party will feature a performance by Young De and special guests.

For those who didn't make it out to the FCC x Ek5obition in-store at Tradition last sunday, here's a little history behind the Floss Angeles movement. FCC x Ek5obition got together for a t-shirt collab based off of the popular internet banger Floss Angeles. El Prez & Dale Danja dropped it as a bonus track on the acclaimed Perfect Strangers EP. The two featuring Convinced, DNEZ, C-San & Chris Focus shot a video with DRG Films and the momentum kept pushing from there. To celebrate the release of the limited shirt the FCC did 3 in-stores last week where they performed and met some of their fans. Store 13, Regal Tenant and our shop Tradition which were the only places you can get the Floss Angeles tees. This dope video was filmed & edited by the homey Eazee of Eazeest.com. Shout out to all our customers, friends and family who came to support!

THE GOOD OL' DAYS

I was in my other storage unit the other day and I found some of my hoops letters from colleges that were recruiting my skinny ass in High School. I wanted to post these so peeps can see for themselves that I could actually hoop! Don't be fooled by the tight jeans and chucks, haha. Lots of kids come to the shop and I talk hoops with them and I'm sure they don't believe I was actually decent. I'm am old man now with a bum knee but I'll be back out there hacking little kids! Here is a little video recap courtesy of Vimby for those of you that missed the Akomplice Season 9 release party at Tradition. We went all out for this event! We produced a limited collab tee with Raekwon and Akomplice and even had a performance from The Chef himself!
I want to thank everyone for making this such an amazing event! I definitely want to shout out Raekwon, Young De, and the big homies at Akomplice for making this happen!
