MIXTAPE: PACIFIC DIVISION - DON'T MENTION IT

DAMN!!! Pac Div came out of nowhere with this brand new mixtape called Don't Mention it. This project is a prelude of their upcoming debut album, Grown Kid Syndrome, which is due out very soon.
Don't Mention It features Colin Munroe, Dom Kennedy, Pill, and more.

This is what PAC DIV had to say about the mixtape...
"Basically Don’t Mention It is 11 or 12 songs that we felt that we wanted to record at the moment and they’re all over the place. We got some real introspective records; we got some real base heavy, 808 records. We got just stuff we wanted to get off our chests on how we were feelin’. It’s 11 or 12 honest songs. Just how we was feelin’ at that exact moment. It took us maybe a few months to write and record."

PACIFIC DIVISION - ROLLIN (RADIO RIP)

Here’s a new radio rip of a new Pacific Division track called “Rollin”, courtesy of the Los Angeles Leakers. Damn this joint is now one of my favorites from Pac Div. The beat is true west coast flavor. You can download it here. Look out for Pac Div's upcoming mixtape, "Don’t Mention It" which is set to drop in the next couple of weeks.

Pacific Division recently sat down with MTV's Alexa Chung for her show "It's On." They talk about the formation of their group, their recently released mixtape, and why they consider themselves "The Underdogs."
Why are they wearing matching shorts?

PACIFIC DIVISION - MAYOR

If any of you have seen Pac Div live, you all know that this song, "Mayor," sets it off everytime. This track has been getting some radio play, and comes from their upcoming Universal Records debut.

"The deal is a good relief factor for us," said Like. "It lets us know we have been doing the right thing...hard work pays off at the end of the day, and our day isn't over, it's just begun. The name of the album to look forward to is Grown Kid Syndrome. No other details to the album as of now, but we will be realeasing two mini projects before that, one called Summer League Tryouts and the other is called Role Players." BeYoung added, "The deal we received was an exceptional one and the attention and respect we'll be getting from the label is definitely a plus in this." The third member of the trio, Mibbs, closed in saying, "I feel good about signing because I can perform on a platform that can help us gain recognition to the world on a much faster pace than on our own."
