MURAKAMI

Somehow this one was off my radar... Superflat master, and every rappers new favorite artist, Takashi Murakami is back in L.A. with a solo show featuring new work! The opening reception is May 3rd, and no Kanye wont be performing like he did at the MOCA a few months back. While the show at the MOCA was a retrospective with artwork spanning from the early nineties to the present, this show is strictly new pieces... Judging from the image on the flier I am pretty interested to see his new direction.
