GARBAGE ISLAND

VBS.TV recently posted a 12 part mini-series/documentary called "Toxic-Garbage Island." The good people from Vice Magazine (one of my favs.) sent a small crew to explore the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch", a giant collection of debris in the middle of nowhere (near Hawaii). The series documents the crew's three week journey to find the patch which is basically a giant stew of floating pieces of plastic that is slowly photodegrading into even tinier toxic, digestible pieces. The outcome? We are all f*cked, and we are ingesting out own garbage!
