WARRIORS MORROW NAMED TO SOPHOMORE SQUAD





Golden State Warriors guard Anthony Morrow has been named to the Sophomore squad for the 2010 Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam, to be played Friday, February 12, at NBA All-Star Weekend in Dallas, the NBA announced today. He will replace Chicago's Derrick Rose whose been chosen as a legitimate All Star. Morrow will square off with teammate Stephen Curry, who was named to the Rookie team last week.

Morrow, 24, has appeared in 36 games this season, averaging 11.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.03 steals in 29.4 minutes per contest, while shooting 47.9% from the field, 44.3% from three-point range and 90.0% from the line. He currently ranks sixth in the NBA in three-point field goal percentage. Last season, Morrow led the NBA in three-point accuracy, shooting 46.7% from beyond the arc to become the first rookie in NBA history to pace the league in that category.
