MERCEDES SLS FOR DUBAI MOTOR SHOW

Mercedes-Benz has created a special version of its new SLS AMG supercar for the 2009 Dubai Motor Show. Mercedes has decided to forgo the shiny route and applied a matte gold finish dubbed "AMG Desert Gold" to the gull-winged SLS. The badging and trim bits like the three-pointed star also go from the usual chrome or silver to a deep back look, as do the wheels. The overall appearance is actually quite much easier on the eyes than the mirror-finished gold appliques we are used
to seeing.
