CLIPPERS FINALLY GET WIN #1

For the second straight season, Baron Davis' team lost its first six games before getting that elusive first victory against the Dallas Mavericks. The Clippers got their first win of the season sunday afternoon of the courtesy of a crucial 13-0 run in the fourth quarter, turning a 79-79 tie into a 92-79 lead which led to the final score of 103-92! Baron Davis had a season-high 10 assists along with 22 points to pace six Clippers in double figures. Al Thornton got eight of his 17 points in the final 6 minutes for the Clippers and Marcus Camby had 14 rebounds and 10 points. For the struggling Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki had 33 points and seven rebounds while Jason Kidd added nine assists and seven points.
