RADIO SILENCE / CRO MAGS RECAP

Last night was the Nike sponsored release for Radio Silence, a book covering the history of American hardcore. The event featured a Q&A with a handful of hardcore greats and the authors of the book, as well as performaces by Violation and the Cro-Mags. Violation warmed up the crowd, but you know who everyone was there to see. The Cro-Mags took the stage with a lineup that featured original members John Joseph and Mackie along with AJ (Leeway) on guitar and Craig Ahead (SOIA, YOT, AF) on bass. The played a set of classics (see the setlist below) to a receptive crowd that sang along to every word.

The show was truly a who's who of hardcore, so many people came out of the woodwork to support the release of the book and to see the Cro-Mags! I couldn't believe all 5 members of Chain of Strength were there! Definitely a fun time!
