What a great morning it is today, my Clippers are once again relevant. Why u might ask? Baron Davis shocked the Warriors by opting out of his contract on Monday. Imagine their surprise now. Last night Baron reached a verbal agreement with the Clippers and will sign a new five year $65 million contract! Both Elton Brand and Corey Maggette also opted out of their contracts with the Clippers. It's expected, in order to sign Baron Davis, the Clippers will trade the rights to Maggette and re-sign Elton Brand to a large contract. GO CLIPPERS!
